Scan a tile. See what's inside.
Point the camera at a tile and its photos, labels and notes open on the spot. A code it hasn't seen yet can be adopted into a new tile right there.
A tile has its own printed code, and a vendor QR or a label already on the box can open it too once you scan it there.
There is no Save button. Type, and it is kept.
Photos and labels
Photos do the remembering.
Add photos and videos to a tile. QR Tiles tags what is visible in them, printed words included, so search finds a drawer by what is in it.
Add as many as a tile needs. Search matches every one.
By group, by zone, by media, or by what still needs attention.
Ask
Ask where you put it.
“Where are the pots?” gets an answer naming the place, not a list of links. Answers come from your tiles, their labels and what their photos show.
Keyword matching works on every iPhone, and Apple Intelligence picks the best places on iPhones that have it. Pro can also answer through a hosted service; your question and the matching places' names and labels are sent to it to answer.
Matching what photos show finds things nobody typed a label for.
Household
Share a home with the people you live with.
Invite them by AirDrop, Messages or Mail. Everyone sees the same tiles, and changes reach every phone through iCloud.
An invitation admits the person it was sent to. A forwarded link lets nobody else in.
Sharing is part of Plus. The people you invite never pay.
Print your own tiles.
Print sheets of brand-new QR codes on label stock, 160 to a page, or one bigger label for a single drawer. The preview redraws with every choice.
They stay blank until scanned. The first scan turns a code into a tile.
A page that jammed comes back with the same codes, not new ones.
Timeline
See what changed.
Every scan, edit, photo and move lands on a timeline, so you can see what changed, when, and on a shared home, who did it.
A deleted tile waits 30 days in Recently Deleted before it is gone.
Back Up Now builds one zip of your photos, videos and spreadsheet-ready files, and restore fills an empty app from it.
Privacy
Your things stay yours.
QR Tiles keeps your inventory on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. There are no accounts and no servers of ours holding your data.
Your tiles, photos and labels sync through your private iCloud under your own Apple Account.
Open the app and start. There is nothing to log into.
Data leaves your phone only when you send it: a backup you share, photos you export to an outside tagging tool, or a question you send to Pro's hosted answers.
